TickRate Fix_linux.txt How to make same thing for Linux server. Shortly, u need to make easy modifications to kernel sources and recompile kernel. Dont bother if you are not familiar with that, just rise tickrate to 25 which is imo the best value for Linux servers IF services are well optimized. Summa summarum, with this fix Linux server’s tickrate 20 is equal to tick 20 in Windows server and pings are more stable.
File_Redirecting_help.doc How-To by HOT-M16. Really good and usefull document how to make file downloads from SF server really fast by using external webserver for file redirecting.

Almost forgot to mention, copy/extract all files to System directory in server and if there are files with same names, replace them. (Take backups first !)

Add lines like below into the bottom of section, or easier, copy/paste from readme file extracted with pure as u have to change those nnnns to right values.

Clientside: Manual changes needed only if player wants to change unaimed aimdot color, however he has to do it for every single server he plays if he doesnt like the default white color as every server has unique nnnns in filenames.
Changing unaimed aimdot mode in Voicemenu adds following lines to SFUser.ini:
bEUaD=True/False Dot Enabled/Disabled
UaDC=(R=255,G=255,B=255,A=0) Dot color in RGB values. Let A be 0.
About impurity codes, I started using UT Pure routine that makes same fuzzy calcutions to generate new codes from my own two digit ones, so I don’t bother to ask me what they means if it’s really not that important, like an official clanwar etc and u have serverlogs to gave me as it really needs some time to figure out what those codes means, and I’m mostly too busy (or just lazy?) to help you out with those.…. And remember,Pure can accidently kick player out cos of bad connection/packet loss or etc reason if it hasn’t got contacted game client when it has tried. If same player gets kicked more than once in short period like during 1-3 rounds, he might really try to cheat as some cheat detection routines are bit timeconsuming and only run randomly during a round or two.
This is the first public release and as usual, few last minute changes has been made, so I bet it’s not totally bug free. First clanwar with this version was played today (SFS vs HSB, welcome back from loooong hypernation HSB !) and everything worked well. I will improve code later when I have time for it, at the moment I’m really full of coding and I think I’m not interesteded in doing any coding work in next few weeks (or months?). We’ll see
Known bugs: Sometimes when player joins to server just after equipment time he gets suicided. Happens very rarely and I think I cant fix this. It’s caused by routine that tries to prevent some health cheats.
No sniper wobble in demos I guess, as I haven’t done anything to fix it. That bug was already in SF1.75 version of Pure and that code has been used as basecode to build this one.
Limitations: Might only work in Team Death Match? Im not sure as I haven’t tested any other game types with it.
